Located at the western side of Singapore, you can find the largest Water Lily Collection at the Japanese Garden, Water Lily Pavilion within the Jurong Lake Gardens. Within the Jurong Lake Gardens are the Lakeside Garden, Chinese Garden and the Japanese Garden. You definitely need more than a day to explore the 90-hectare gardens.
Discover more than 150 water lily species from miniature to the majestic giant water lily (Victoria Amazonia). You can find both day and night lily bloomers.
Did you know that water lilies have self-cleaning leaves as the waxy hydrophobic surface causes water to bead up and roll off, removing dirt with it. The Giant Amazon water lily has leaves that can grow over 2.5 metres in diameter.
It was scorching hot when I visited the Water Lily Pavilion. Remember to bring umbrella, wear hat, apply sunblock and hydrate yourself.

我去睡莲馆参观时天气酷热难耐。记得带上伞、戴帽子、涂抹防晒霜并补充水分。
